[Al Qur’an 4:157] (We punished them because of) their (blatant and boastful) statement, “We killed Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messiah, the messenger of Allah!” But they did not kill him, and they did not crucify him! It just appeared to them to be so! Those who differ are certainly in doubt about that matter. They do not have a definite knowledge. (They have nothing) except their assumptions and conjectures. They definitely did not kill him.
